CEU Book Clubs
Read books & earn category 1 CEUs! Read (or listen to) the book, take a quiz, complete an evaluation, and then earn your Category 1 CEUs, issued in your NSGC portal. All programs are independent & completed completely on your own schedule! CEU certificates will be issued in 2026.

A note from Brittany
Hi, my name is Brittany Mahalick (MS, LCGC 🙌🏽) and I started The CEU Shop to offer a new way for genetic counselors to earn NSGC-approved Category 1 CEUs. The idea is that you can get cozy on the couch with a good book or listen to an audiobook on your commute and knock out some Category 1 CEUs at the same time!

Your CEUs are “earned” on the date that you complete the program, and issued by NSGC within their portal during the next month. This is not an instant CEU program.

Stay focused as you read by completing the quiz as you go. As soon as you purchase the course you are emailed a copy of the final quiz to use as you read.
Simple Pricing for Category 1 CEU’s
Our book club programs have simple and consistent pricing, and been approved for NSGC Category 1 CEUs. Book clubs cost $10 per contact hour + $35 (to submit to NSGC for credit).
